Hi! I’m Alyssa, in the middle dressed in the Rodeo Queen outfit I rode with Kids and Horses. for over ten years. Recently, I had the opportunity to return to Kids and Horses to teach the next generation of equestrian kids about how I was able to ride with the nationally recognized Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo by using all the skills I acquired through the Kids and Horses program. Being able to ride with the Elizabeth Stampede required outstanding horsemanship and incredible amounts of horse knowledge. Learning with Kids and Horses provided me with all of the skills and knowledge required to out do my competitors. I’m currently a Sophomore at CSU studying Biology.
